The best way to make a big church feel small is by joining a Life Group. Life Groups are a place to grow in your relationship with God while you connect with others. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others so that we can grow in our faith, receive care in life’s ups and downs, and serve others. Connection is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Life Groups exist—to make these life- changing connections relevant and accessible to you. Meeting in homes across the area, people are doing life together in a fun-filled, relaxed environment and it’s easier than ever to get connected!
We will launch a new season of Life Groups in early 2019.
How can I become a Life Group Leader?
Leading a Life Group isn’t about being perfect; it’s about investing in others by giving them a place to connect, grow, and serve. Leading a group is simple—choose a topic that interests you and select a time and location to meet. We’ll resource you with the tools to make your Life Group a success through Leader Training and a Directory where you can list your group so others can find it. We believe people’s lives are changed one season at a time, and as a Life Group leader you get to play an important role in that process. If you are interested in becoming a Life Group Leader, please email email@example.com.
Guys are busy. We have jobs to pay the bills, clubs to play golf, LCD screens to watch football, and cars to maintain – not to mention the constant need to take out the trash.
“Deep in his heart, every man wants to be a part of a team that does something great. Just look at the movies men adore. A team comes together to save the world, steal the money, or win the championship. The Lord of the Rings, X-Men, The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan, Oceans Eleven, Remember The Titans… feature a band of brothers who attempt the dangerous, the outrageous, the impossible. Each member of the team has a specialty and makes a vital contribution. A band of brothers. Though he may not realize it, every man longs to be a part of one.” (Why Men Hate Church, D. Murrow)
